1) Choose a domain name (use the form below to see if it is available) try to keep it simple, though I know its getting tougher every year.
2) Choosing a package can be confusing sometimes. I recommend that you start with the beginners package; while you are getting use to 1and1.com; and getting over the nervous part of spending money online.
3) Our customer service, at 1and1.com are really great about walking you through the process; step by step. (this is why I choose 1and1.com as a hosting partner, and use them myself.)
